This report is a compilation of legal research in the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals and state of Kansas on transgender, gender-variant, and intersex (“TGI”) inmate’s medical and safety rights. The research will be made available to TGI individuals to ensure their needs are met while in custody. The report is formatted to match the resources currently available for other states and federal appellate circuits.
