Working Groups
The LFAA Working Groups - composed of Alliance Firm volunteers - focus on the intersection of racial equity and substantive areas of the law.
Guided by our legal services colleagues and other experts, the LFAA Working Groups develop and expand our collective expertise on how best we can help to dismantle systemic racism in the law. The Working Groups collaborate and develop convenings and other programming with experts in the field to deepen the Working Groups' knowledge of systemic racism in their subject areas and develop projects that address priority areas of focus. In partnership with the LFAA Projects Committee, our Working Groups assist with the pro bono opportunities the LFAA facilitates for Alliance Firms. Additionally, the LFAA Working Groups are developing the LFAA Library, an ever-growing repository of research on laws, rules, regulations and policies that provide resources to dismantle systemic racism.
